Why is it we usually tend to promote square dancing and collect new dancer contact information ONLY when we're about to hold a new class?

We need to gather prospective new dancer information & "retread" information ALL YEAR LONG! We encourage you to direct any and all new prospective dancers to the Signup Page so they can register to be contacted when a class or workshop (yours or one nearest them) begins. It's FREE!

We have many marketing ideas on our schedule that will benefit your clubs. You are encouraged to participate as it will help us all. Add your class and club as soon as you can. You will be asked to attach a PDF flyer for your class or workshop. If you're adding your club to the system, you can also attach a PDF flyer.

Advertise the Squaredancefun.com website. It HELPS US ALL !

Why is it we usually tend to promote square dancing and collect new dancer contact information ONLY when we're about to hold a new class? We encourage you to collect the contact information for these new prospects & "retreads" ALL YEAR LONG! If we can get their email addresses and other contact info (if possible) they can be contacted and updated on a REGULAR BASIS automatically via email months & weeks prior to the next class. We can compete for their leisure time if we use the tools readily available to us.

We have some pretty unique promotional concepts we're working on. Some details are already posted at SquareDanceFun.com Once fully operational, This site should help all clubs in our area (and just about anywhere) to recruit and retain new dancers. Basically any club could post their class schedule to the site and then advertise the website SquareDanceFun.com in their local area. There will be links to some of the more "Exciting" Square Dance videos and Photo Galleries , along with some great information on Modern Square Dancing, Health Benefits, Etc..

A prospective dancer would go to the site and type in their own zip code to find the class most convenient to them. The prospect would be provided contact information to enable them to contact their local club. Also, they could sign up to be notified of upcoming classes in their area by automated texts & or emails as reminders so they don't forget about their potential upcoming lessons. With their permission the site would also automatically remind them the Night Before Each Class. Sure, we would get some overlap from class to class, and city to city, but that has proven to be a beneficial thing to our activity.

Now, If we were to print up "coasters" (sample below) and pass them out (a few hundred per "sit down" restaurant in a town), it would not be expensive and the restaurant should be happy to get free coasters. We would have some pretty good exposure and a captive audience. (and we know Square Dancers LOVE to eat !)

With so many people "buried" in their phones during dinner, this could idea could be a Big Winner for our activity! It's worth a try, and it's FREE to the clubs!

It is very important that new dancers attend regularly (as in each week if at all possible) in order to learn the call s as they are presented. This allows the entire class to progress evenly and stay on schedule.
